How It All Started....
Started in 2014 after trying to find a commercial gluten free dog treat, Muddy Paws was developed. I have a Portuguese Water Dog, Sophie, who could not tolerate gluten dog treats or dog food... so I started making my own dog treats. I was not satisfied with what was available on the market or in the stores, so off to the kitchen I went, coming up with this very simple recipe.
How They Are Made
I developed a simple recipe, with only five basic ingredients, starting with Bob's Red Mill 1-to-1 Gluten Free Baking Flour, peanut butter, eggs, a little bit of cinnamon and whatever vegetable or fruit, that is all. Simple, but made with care and love. Nothing that would be harmful for my girl or your baby. Dog Treats for dogs with gluten intolerance symptoms and healthy option for dogs without issues.
Small Batched, Hand Rolled and Hand Cut
Each batch is hand rolled, and hand cut into the shapes for each flavor in small batches. The pumpkin treats are paw shaped, the sweet potato treats are dog boned shaped, the apple treats are shaped as a fire hydrant and the banana treats are dog houses. They are easy to identify and your dog will love them. Mine does!!!
